Kissamos, also known as Kasteli, is a small coastal town approximately 40 km west of Chania. Due to its location, Kissamos is the ideal destination for visitors who wish to enjoy carefree vacations while staying near some of the most famous beaches of Crete.

The Museum of Kissamos hosts a large number of these findings. Furthermore, close to Tzanakaki Square, you can find part of the walls of the Venetian fortress which gave the town its name, Kasteli.
